History of Hong Kong Harbour
Hong Kong has undergone several transformations around the Harbour over the years. Some of these changes were in the form of land reclamation, which took place during times of sustained population growth and were the easiest way to meet the demand for property while generating revenue for the city. Currently, however, with less than one percent annual population growth, Hong Kong can afford to have a rethink about the plan for its Harbour.

Lets have a look at other world harbours
Looking around the world there are a number of harbours that Hong Kong can study and draw upon for inspiration. There is much we can learn from what other city planners have been through in developing a plan and vision for their respective harbours, the actual infrastructure build outs, and more importantly, the benefits these transformations have brought to their citizens.
